6 Simple skin care tips

"Your skin is a tell-tale indicator of how good you feel. Did you break out last time you were a ball of stress? Not a coincidence, we’re afraid. If you and your complexion need a little boost, try these tips and tricks to help give yourself the happiest face possible". Anonymous

STEP 1:  Moisturising
despite how oily or dry your skin is you must moisturise your skin and make it a habit I suggest you start experimenting and researching on what skin moisturisers work for your skin type personally I use organic skin oils despite all the rumours going around that adding more oil to the skin blocks your pores I found it to be more soothing and helpful for my skin note that everyone has different skin type my skin type is a mix neither oily or dry (find out your skin type by taking quizzes online). At day time it is best to apply day cream to assist you through out your day some even contain sun screens and can last throughout the whole 12 hours of the day. Likewise at night there are also night creams that assist your skin in production of the right protein and oils to protect your skin.

STEP 2: Sleep
lack of sleep overall isn't good for your body particularly your skin . ever been called "looking tired" well your skin is to blame a good 8 hours of sleep will help clear up that look of tiredness and your dark eye circles and under eyes bags will be no more. HURRAY! (sleep offers the kind of remedy and cures no creams can offer... in case your wondering why I was overreacting).

STEP 3: Snacking on citrus fruits
citrus fruits help detox your skin and make it clear. I love oranges and sometimes drizzle lemons on my pastas and meals. Lemons support your kidneys and liver these particular organs have a connection  with healthy skin. vitamin c supplements may also aid in the same way the fruits do but I  would insist on eating citrus fruits I mean who wouldn't

STEP 4 : Eat chocolate .... seriously
Everyone always says chocolate is bad for you a reminder that chocolate is made out of cocoa powder a natural growing organic produce but maybe the amount of sugar added is what makes people go into a frenzy either way these are just rumours and their are no scientific evidence.Dark chocolate actually contains antioxidants that helps protect your skin one small piece is enough for your brain to be satisfied..... so eat up people.

STEP 5: Exercise
exercising isn't only beneficial for gaining muscle and burning fat it helps pump blood and nutrients around the skin . if you hate going to the gym try sports like swimming or even dancing to get your heart pumping.

STEP 6 : Stay hydrated
Drinking six to eight glasses of water does wonders for your skin inside and out. I you hate drinking plain water try coconut water or flavoured water watch out for sweeteners though.

DID YOU KNOW : The skin is the largest organ in your body.
